| X-TECH SHELL The X-Tech shell was designed with strength and support in mind. Moreover it has a special sportive look to separate from the pack. It is made out of a special composite compound that is super stiff thanks to the 25% fiberglass, which was mixed into the material. This makes this shell especially strong and supportive. It also features a 195mm long mounting distance with X-slot to be able to adjust all frames to the side, front and rear, in order to find the perfect skating position for everybody. The bottom is ventilated and incorporates the X design to guarantee torsion stiffness and perfect power transfer to each stride. |
X-TECH CUFF The adjustable X-Tech cuff was designed with support in mind. It is made out of a special composite compound that is super stiff thanks to the 25% fiberglass, which was mixed into the material. Additional to this it has a side stride bar made out aluminium for even more support. This cuff can be adjusted in forward flex in the hinge area, so sportive skater can get more flex to front and rear, while intermediate skaters could reduce the flex for more support and a less deep skating position. Also this cuff can be adjusted in height for a lower or higher cuff and thus more or less support. The buckle is a clean and stylish fast lock buckle. |
PADDING This skate comes with a 2-piece construction. The bottom is made like a shoe, with great rear fit to avoid movement in the heel. The top part is a flexible cuff, with nice thick padding that fits nicely around the leg and provides a great support and still freedom of movement. |
UPPER & LACING This model features a high grade PU upper. Featuring a fast lacing with woven loops for easy and fast, yet effective lacing. Open sidewall and a unique 2-piece construction offer not only perfect ventilation and comfort but also a great and snug fit. Superior stitching quality and nice finish in details along with a rear carrying strap round up this great skate. The upper is connected directly to the shell, which provides a great power transfer and increased foot support and stability. This Shell Connected Construction (SCC) increases the manoeuvrability of this skate. |
FRAME The frame is made out of a two-piece construction, two separate aluminium casted sidewalls, connected together with a strong and solid mounting block. The frame is made out of an aluminium mixture to be strong yet lightweight. It is designed to be super low with a low centre of gravity, but still allows for 90mm wheels. Possibly the lowest 90mm frame on the market. The frame does not only look great but also offers great stiffness thanks to additional internal reinforcements. The frame uses 8mm axles which can be opened and closed with just one tool as the axles has a locking head that connects to the frame. |
WHEELS & BEARINGS The skate features ABEC 5 bearings lubricated with light grease. It has serviceable shields, a strong and solid nylon cage and 7 steel balls, which are honed and finished to perfection to guarantee a smooth and nice roll. The wheels are 84mm wheels with a strong and unique 6-spoke X-type core, perfect shape and radius for an excellent push and stride. Nice amount of PU over the core to take away shocks and vibrations of the roads. Long lasting and high rebound Urethane makes these wheels a great choice for fast and easy cruising. |
BRAKE The height adjustable brake system (HABS) offers a lot of advantages over the traditional heel brake. The braking surface has a bigger contact area, for a faster and more controlled braking action. The height adjustment function is perfect to find the preferred personal braking position, lower or higher, with straight legs for more braking power or angled legs. Also once worn down the brake pad can be lowered to keep the best braking point for more safety and security. The HABS is for sure the best and most effective heel brake system on the market. Easy to mount to the frame and replace, made out of the best possible materials. Available in different colours for replacement. |
